What type of fastener do I use with the Snow Defender 4500 or 1500?
We recommend the #12 1.5″ Regrips. For the PC240 and Buster, the #12 is too thick, we recommend the #10 1.5″ Fastgrips.

Can I use stainless steel screws to install steel roofing panels?
Yes, however a hole must be predrilled in the steel. Stainless steel screws are ideal for aluminum panels.
Will your screws rust?
Most of our screws are mechanically galvanized with a zinc rust resistant coating. We also offer a selection of stainless steel screws.
